Method

For more than 2 servings, first divide all displayed ingredient totals into separate batches of no more than 2. Use each batch’s share of the displayed amounts in its own equipment. Rinse blueberries and chop almonds; reserve 30g berries and 5g almonds for topping.

Put oats and 450ml milk in a 3l saucepan, with all measured water, over medium heat and stir for 1 minute.

Bring gently to a simmer, stirring, then cook for 6–8 minutes until the rolled oats soften and the mixture thickens. Follow a longer packet time if needed; porridge thickens further as it stands.

Stir in remaining 90g blueberries and 20g almonds for the final minute.

Divide between bowls for this batch. Add optional milk in 15ml increments, up to 30ml total, if needed. Finish with all honey and reserved berries and almonds.
