Ingredients
blender suitable for thick mixtures, knife, fine grater, one 500ml bowl per serving, spatula
Method

Peel banana, core and chop pear and reserve quarter of pear for topping. Peel and finely grate the fresh ginger, then measure the listed amount using a level 5ml teaspoon. If desired, chill fruit for 10 minutes.

Use ripe, unfrozen fruit. In a blender suitable for thick mixtures, blend the yoghurt, banana, remaining three-quarters of pear and all measured ginger for 30–45 seconds until spoonably smooth. Switch off before scraping the sides. Follow the blender capacity limit and blend in separate batches if needed.

Divide between the planned servings.

Top with the reserved fruit, granola, and chia seeds, then serve straight away while cold.
