Start with the dinners your household will actually use, bring their ingredients into one grouped list and review every basket choice before buying.

Start with dinners, not aisle headings

A useful weekly list begins with meals your household could genuinely cook and eat. Choose the dinners first, check the servings and preparation time, and keep the week flexible enough for plans to change.

Bring the ingredients into one place

Once the dinners are in the plan, Shop Sorted brings their ingredients into one grouped shopping list. That gives you a single place to review what the week needs instead of working through several recipes separately.

Check the list against home

Before treating the list as final, compare it with the cupboard, fridge and freezer. Look at quantities as well as ingredients, especially when several dinners use the same item. The list is a practical starting point, so it still needs your review.

Change a dinner when the list does not fit

If the list feels unrealistic for the week ahead, return to the plan and swap the dinner causing the problem. Keeping the plan and list connected is usually simpler than trying to repair an awkward list at the end.

Review the retailer basket before buying

Where basket help is available, Shop Sorted can prepare supported retailer basket information from the plan. Always review products, quantities, substitutions, current prices, availability and labels before buying. Checkout and payment remain with the retailer.
