Shop Sorted helps you plan meals, group a shopping list and prepare basket checks. We do not sell groceries, deliver groceries or check out with a supermarket for you. Prices, stock, substitutions, ingredients and retailer terms can change, so always review the retailer basket before buying.

These terms include the controlled Chrome extension beta.

Who provides the service

The service is provided by Nicholas Jones, trading as Shop Sorted. Use support for service questions. For the friends-and-family launch, use support or email shopsorted2026@gmail.com for correspondence.

Accounts and acceptable use

Keep your Shop Sorted login details secure and do not share your account.
Do not provide supermarket passwords, card details or payment information to Shop Sorted support.
Do not misuse the service, scrape it, interfere with it or use it for unlawful activity.
We may pause or restrict access if needed for security, misuse, maintenance or serious service issues.

Planning, food and recipe limits

Meal plans, recipes, cooking times, servings and nutrition figures are estimates for planning. Shop Sorted is not medical, nutrition or allergen-safety advice. Check labels, packaging, ingredients, substitutions, cooking safety and medical suitability yourself before buying, cooking or eating.

Retailers and baskets

Shop Sorted is not part of, endorsed by, or acting for any supermarket unless we say so clearly. Your purchase is with the retailer and is subject to that retailer's prices, availability, terms, substitutions and delivery options.

Before you pay, check every item in your retailer basket, including quantity, pack size, price, substitutions, delivery slot, ingredients and allergen information. Shop Sorted suggestions are planning support only.

The optional Chrome extension can open supported supermarket pages and assist with supported direct matches in your own browser session. It does not guarantee a match, price, stock, pack size or substitution, and it does not complete checkout or payment. You must respond to review pauses and check the final supermarket basket before buying.

Subscriptions and payments

Your first plan and basket review are free. Shop Sorted then offers a recurring subscription for unlimited planning, swaps, saved setup changes and supported basket features. Stripe handles payment checkout, renewal, cancellation and billing management. Shop Sorted does not store card details.

Founding prices may be lower than future standard prices. Any change to your subscription price, cancellation terms, refund handling or renewal terms must be shown clearly before it affects you.

Availability and changes

Shop Sorted may change features, retailer coverage, recipes and supermarket mappings as the service improves. Chrome extension availability may be paused or limited by version, browser, account or supermarket while beta evidence is reviewed. The service may be unavailable during maintenance, incident response or third-party outages, and the manual basket flow remains the fallback.

Liability and consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under UK consumer law, including statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. These terms do not limit liability where the law does not allow it. You remain responsible for reviewing retailer baskets and deciding whether meals and products are suitable for your household.

Governing law and complaints

These terms are intended for a UK-facing service and are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Use support if you have a complaint.
